GENERAL ELECTION

NOVEMBER 4, 2014

100 Day Notice for Federal Write-in Absentee Ballots for the 2014 November General Election

Registration Deadline: October 6th

Board of Elections office will be open from 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM on October 6th for registration deadline.

Filing Deadline for write-in candidates: August 25th

UOCAVA Absentee Voting begins: September 20th (This is for military and overseas voters)

Non UOCAVA Absentee Voting begins: October 7th

For this election, the Secretary of State's office WILL BE mailing Absentee Ballot Applications to every registered voter in active status as of August 1st and every registered voter who voted in the 2010 General Election or 2012 Presidential Election.

Hours of Absentee Voting:

October 7th - October 17th

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on each weekday (Monday through Friday)

 

October 20th - October 25th

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on each weekday (Monday through Friday)

8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25th

 

October 27th - November 2nd

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on each weekday (Monday through Friday)

8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the Saturday before the election, November 1st

1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Sunday before the election, November 2nd

 

 November 3rd

8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Monday before the election

 

Petitions are available at Logan Co. Board of Elections office and on Secretary of State’s Website at www.sos.state.oh.us/sos/elections/electionsofficials/forms.aspx

 

ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE AUTOMATICALLY MAILED TO VOTERS FOR THIS ELECTION.

To receive an Absentee Ballot Application, either:

1)  Click on the tab Absentee form, complete the fillable Application Request form, mail said form to the Board of Elections at 225 S. Main Street, Bellefontaine,  OH 43311;

2) Call the Board of Elections office at 599-7255 and request an Absentee Ballot Application; or

3) Visit the Board of Elections office Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM and vote in person.

 

ABSENTEE VOTING HOURS:                          

                                                                8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from April 1st - April 4th

                                                                8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Monday, April 7th

                                                                8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, from April 8th – April 11th

                                                                8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 14th – May 2nd

                                                                8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3rd

 

                                                                                                                                                         

 

ELECTION VOTING EQUIPMENT REPORT

VOTER IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  Every voter will be required to provide proof of identity before voting.  The form of identification you may use includes:

*  Your current and valid photo identification card;

*  Military identification;

*  A copy of a utility bill;

*  A bank statement

*  A paycheck;

*  A government check; or

*  A government document showing your name and current address.

(Note:  you cannot use as proof of identification a notice that the board of election mailed to you.)
